Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Care project is a joint effort between the Novak Djokovic Foundation, the World Bank , and the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development.
Once completed, it will grant access to at least 3,000 children to preschool education..
Interviews with community stakeholders and parents whose children will go to the preschools we open are among the important steps we take in the selection process.
Between creating questionnaires for preschool institutions and local municipalities, thoroughly selecting email inquiries and finally going on multiple field trips, we also communicate with and rely on trusted sources who can provide us with relevant demographic and statistical information .
Those sources include conferences, teachers’ associations, worker’s unions, university faculties, environment experts, and responsible government ministries.
In a relatively short time span, the Project has already yielded big results. Click on the map to see our impact.
Signed in May of 2021, thea ECEC is a tripartite collaboration between the NDF, the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development , and the World Bank , who is financing the entire project.
