READ MOREFeelings are an integral part of every human being’s life. Emotions do not ask if they can come.
Rather, they just come and then we understand them, consider them, and name them.
The Feel to Heal program helps children aged 3 to 6 to begin to master the recognition, naming, and emotion management skills necessary for their lifelong well-being. The general goal of the program is to encourage emotional literacy, as well as to acquaint educators with various desired skills, tools, and strategies that are meant to make children thrive in this field.
The Feel to Heal program is created by Smiljana Grujic, the very heart of all programs here at NDF.
Smiljana, who is also the brains behind our “Support, NOT perfection” program, is a psychologist and psychotherapist with years of experience in working with parents and children, mainly focusing on emotional management and compassionate communication.
Emotions make us human and they all have a purpose. If ignored, they only intensify. People who know how to manage their feelings are found to be more successful in all areas of life and have fewer psychological difficulties.
