The Novak Djokovic Foundation, driven by the mission that every child deserves a happy childhood and equal opportunities for success, continues its traditional humanitarian initiative “Caravan of Happiness” this holiday season.
On Monday, December 23, the caravan set out to bring smiles, joy, and New Year’s gifts to 570 children aged 3 to 7 from six municipalities in the North Banat District: Bečej, Novi Bečej, Čoka, Senta, Ada, and Novi Kneževac.
The “Caravan of Happiness” is one of the most cherished and important projects of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, making every holiday season warmer for the youngest members of socially disadvantaged families. Through this initiative, the Foundation aims not only to provide assistance but also to inspire communities to collectively create environments where every child can grow surrounded by love, care, and support.
“Our mission is clear – every child deserves love, attention, and the opportunity to fulfill their dreams, regardless of the circumstances they grow up in. The ‘Caravan of Happiness’ is not just a project; it’s our promise to children and their families that we will always be there for them, supporting them and striving to make every smile even brighter. Santa Claus delivered the gifts to the children in each location, assisted by employees of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, who tailored each present to suit the age and gender of the child. Through collaboration with social welfare centers in the municipalities visited by the Caravan of Happiness, the Foundation ensured that this action covered all children aged 3 to 7 from families receiving social assistance.
The Novak Djokovic Foundation was established with a deep belief that investing in early development and education has the power to change the world.
