Toy library for children in Kragujevac suburbs
A van full of toys, games and books arrived this week in the Kragujevac suburbs and brought joy and great mood to the children of Roma population! The kids were not hiding their smiles and happiness as they saw the vehicle approaching.
The van was donated by the Novak Djokovic Foundation to the cultural and educational Roma organisation “Romanipen”.
After they finished playing in individual and group activities with their parents and teachers, boys and girls returned the toys back in their boxes so that other children can play as well when the Toy Library arrives in their place.

The main goal of this program is to ensure the availability of materials for the promotion of intellectual, emotional, and physical development of children through individual and group activities they can participate equally with their parents and teachers.
As a result, many children will have a chance to feel the magic of childhood, and will not fall behind their peers in Belgrade and other cities, said CEO and Romanipen, Bozidar Nikolic.

Director of the Foundation, Jelena Ristic, donated equipment and toys for children in Kragujevac and suburban areas, which will allow for a greater number of quality activities of the organisation and be accessible to children from remote rural areas.
“Our goal is not to be alone in improving the conditions of children’s education, but to support those whose mission is the same as ours –Jelena Ristic”
