Kindergarten Veseljko Almost Reconstructed
After more than two months of complex works on the kindergarten “Veseljko” in Obrenovac the reconstruction is almost completed.
The kindergarten employees have helped the team of contractors that have been working diligently on this facility, and they have organized the cleaning and landscaping of the yard twice. All hardware in the yard has been protected and repainted, including children’s playgrounds.
In the period between November 10th and 15th façade works were finished: access ramps from the gate to the yard were built, the two access staircases were repaired, concrete works and final landscaping was done, new gutter system was installed, and the roof was repaired.
Bad weather conditions, rain and constant humidity are making the completion of construction works a lot harder, especially the flooring, after which the rest of the woodwork will be done. The kitchen tiles have been installed and the ceramic tiles in the sanitary blocks are being currently installed. The facility also has a new water supply system and sewerage, as well as a new fire protection system.
The kindergarten has a new fully functional central heating system. Additionally, a new kitchen ventilation system has been installed and all electrical installations have been completed; which is really important. The installation of new kitchen equipment has also begun.
Foundation’s team is impatiently waiting for everything to be finished, so the kindergarten “Veseljko” could be open for children from Obrenovac again. Renovated rooms, painted in cheerful, pastel colors, will completely justify the kindergarten’s name (TN: “Veseljko” translates as “Merry”). The kindergarten will be equipped with new furniture, toys and didactic material.
