“Novak Djokovic” Foundation receives acknowledgement by Knic Municipal Assembly
“Novak Djokovic” Foundation has received acknowledgement by Knic Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, for donating funds and building School of Life in Gruza, Serbia, planned to open by the end of the year.
The Municipal Assembly president Dragana Jovanovic presented the NDF with the recognition on the Knic Municipality Day, saying that it’s an expression of gratitude for the donation and for the “Schools of Life – together for childhood” project realization.
“We are happy that the School of Life in Gruza will soon open its doors for 37 children aged 3 to 5 years. Most of the professional trainings have been held and teachers are ready to work with children in a whole new way, which will make their stay in kindergarten more interesting and more beautiful“
said the Foundation project manager Gorana Dzudza Jakovljevic, who received the acknowledgement on behalf of the “Novak Djokovic” Foundation.
The School of Life in Gruza is a part of the project implemented by the Foundation with professional support from the Centre for Interactive Pedagogy. Two million dinars have been invested in building and furnishing of the School of Life, and additional 1,5 million dinars are being invested through teacher training seminars, and for monthly mini grants to support the work. Opening of the School of Life in Gruza is planned by the end of the year.
