Children Designed T-shirts for Novak Djokovic at 46. Belgrade Fashion Week
Even the youngest visitors of this year’s Belgrade Fashion Week had the opportunity to show their imagination and originality in design. They created t-shirts for our co-founder Novak Djokovic, as part of our joint project with Belgrade Fashion Week – the “BFW Creative Caravan”.
The collaboration between Belgrade Fashion Week and our foundation on the project “BFW Creative Caravan”, aims to support our project “Schools of Life”. The joint project is designed to encourage children to retain their naturalness and distinctiveness while expressing their true values.
“I imagined this t-shirt to be white, to have a crocodile and a heart, and to have Serbia written on it. The heart on the t-shirt means that Novak Djokovic supports Serbia at whatever good it does for the children,” Petra, one of the participants in the workshop, enthusiastically shared her impressions.
Within the project “Schools of Life”, the Foundation will build and renovate schools in areas that are less economically developed, in order to provide the children who live there with opportunities to develop into confident and successful individuals.
“Drawing is an important part of children’s creativity at an early age and an activity that they enjoy very much. That is why it is interesting to us as we watch them create and hope that this workshop will recognize young artists and talents, which we will continue to nurture and develop. Our partner, Belgrade Fashion Week, has shown a great willingness to contribute with creativity and good ideas to advance our project “Schools of Life”, which is extremely important for the Foundation, ” said Maja Kremic, national director of the Novak Djokovic Foundation.
It is well known that Perwoll Fashion Week continuously supports young talents, helps them further develop their creativity and affirm themselves in the art world. For this reason, after the workshop was completed, all the children’s works were exhibited at the Belexpo Center.
“We want this caravan to depart from Belgrade, all over Serbia, and to organize similar workshops within the “School of Life”. Who knows – maybe some fashion collection may come out later, ” said Nenad Radujevic, director of Click Fashion Studio and founder of the first Fashion Week.
Also, with the cooperation of the Novak Djokovic Foundation and Belgrade Fashion Week, recently at the Roksanda Ilincic exhibition, funds have been raised and donated to the “School of Life” in Indjija.
