The award ceremony “Consumer’s Favorite”, “My Choice” and “Benefactor” was organized as part of the “Best in Serbia” campaign.

At this ceremony, the Novak Djokovic Foundation was recognized with the “Benefactor” golden plaque for its exceptional contribution over the two previous years. The goal of this award is to encourage organizations and individuals in Serbia to invest in the development of the community in which they live and work, to protect the environment, as well as to help citizens in need. Also, the idea is to encourage companies operating in Serbia to be socially responsible and to contribute to improving the lives of their employees, their families and society as a whole.

“Recognitions like this are an incentive for us to continue working with even more devotion and love,” said Maja Kremic.

On behalf of the Novak Djokovic Foundation, National Director Maja Kremic received the award and addressed the audience:

“We are honored that our dedicated work in the previous period has been recognized and nominated for the winner of the “Benefactor” Golden Plaque. The very name of this recognition is very symbolic because it describes what our founders represent in the best possible way. Led by their example, the Novak Djokovic Foundation strives to do good by helping our country and the children who live in it. It is true that the previous two years were very challenging: first, in 2020, we made a substantial effort to help the Serbian health system, and then, as the epidemiological situation improved, we slowly returned to our regular activities and made 2021 one of the most successful years since the Foundation was founded. This year, we are celebrating amazing milestones and anniversaries15 years of work, 50 opened preschools and 50,000 children whom we helped through our programs and projects. Recognitions like this are an incentive for us to continue working with even more devotion and love,” said Maja Kremic.
